Goal. To study the nutritional value and polyphenolic composition of annual sunflower leaves (Helianthus annuus L.) for their further use as a phytogenic antioxidant additive poultry feed. Methods. The chemical phytoraw material (crude protein, crude fat, fiber, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin E, b-carotene) was evaluated according to generally accepted methods. quantitative content individual groups polyphenols determined spectrophotometrically: volume hydroxycinnamic acids — in terms chlorogenic acid, phenolic compounds gallic flavonoids rutin. Results. It established that had high b-carotene (260.2–291.6 µg/g) natural E (37.4%). protein fixed at level 16.2%, fiber 4.2%. A significant amount calcium phosphorus accumulated raw materials 2.03% 0.28%, respectively. total acid 3.15%, 1.60%, rutin equivalent 1.78%. Conclusions. presence confirmed give reasons consider it not only valuable component feed but also source antioxidants.
